Rail/Intermodal
It has been the mission of SelectoFlash to closely monitor changes in Association of American Railroads regulations governing layout, design and adaptation of graphics in both the rail and intermodal industries. Further, we monitor recent changes in Coast Guard and DOT regulations as they pertain to import and export containers. This gives assurance to our customers that said supplied markings legally meet all governmental regulations. Further, SelectoFlash has been an industry leader in engineering changes in adhesives and ink technology to guarantee long life of our products in all of the world’s climatic zones We have supplied over three quarters of a million sets of sea containers markings in Europe, Asia, and the United States. We effectively met the quality and delivery demands in all of these aforementioned markets. We were fortunate to get an early start supplying the domestic container market here in the United States delivering requirements to railroads, leasing companies, and chassis and rail pools. We adapted our product knowledge in supplying rail car manufacturers with complete sets of rail car reporting marks, logos, and all regulatory and specification data. SelectoFlash has excelled at supplying manufacturing lines, meeting critical delivery, and on time performance. Our total service package includes design, production, delivery, and after service including application and installation training for our customer’s labor force. In addition to new, OEM-supplied graphics, we have supplied sets of refurbishment markings for equipment refurbishing contractors, railroads, and leasing companies. To assure our product warranty, SelectoFlash will arrange testing of paints and coatings to assure compatibility of that system with decal adhesives, ink, and top applied protective coatings. In order to maximize the time between refurbishment cycles, paints and coatings are constantly being changed to meet durability and environmental conditions. It is our objective to assure their long term compatibility with our markings. |
