In 1956 Selecto-Flash began as a highway safety company, supplying barricades and flashers at construction sites.
However by the early 60's a significant portion of our business was screen printing logos and numbering systems for transportation vehicles. At this time, the intermodal industry began and required a permanent marking system for their steel containers and chassis.
Selecto-Flash developed marking systems to withstand all the climatic regions of the world, from temperatures reaching 120 degrees in the deserts to well below freezing the northern climates. Our systems had to resist the corrosive salt environment of the world oceans as well as diesel, gasoline and U.V. destruction. This background of matching films, inks and adhesives for various surfaces gave us the foundation to become a leader in supplying durable & large format graphics for the entire transportation industry. High resolution 4 Color Process and computer matched PMS made us stand out from our competition.
When short-run digital graphics became economically feasible we created SelectFX as an adjunct to our screen printing.
